Welcome to Dancing toward Health! My name is Val and I’m so happy you’re here!
Health and weight have been a longtime struggle for me. My habits are nothing to be proud of, but I hope that going public with my journey will bring both personal insight and an added layer of accountability as I toss old habits and acquire new ones.
I’m just an ordinary girl attempting, yet again, to make it down the path toward a healthy life. This site will chronicle my journey with eating healthy foods and moving my body plus addressing the accompanying emotional baggage.
My plan is to be honest about everything, even the messy, if-we-don’t-talk-about-it-no-one-will-know-it-exists issues although this may make some people uncomfortable. At this point in my life, I can’t imagine being any other way.
I have some definite intentions about what I’ll post although there are many things I’ve yet to think of, I’m sure. What you will definitely find here are posts on the following:
